      most decent ones are paid solutions, how are you doing the support for your product, is it actually being done from another person if so liveperson is something you want, maybe explain more in detail so i can suggest a better solution or script thats free or cheap

          both have a free version for 1 person..
          but I still dont know how is the whole thing handled, I put a small script on the page and the chat is handled through a regular windows software?

              I used on in the past that had Java client.

                      Looks good, but I'm on Zopim now. Its pretty cool, you just need to add a small widget (code) to the website and it works out of the box.. it can be integrated with IM's too. And the 1 operator version is free
