I stayed here in April, absolutely amazing hotel, being at the pool on the roof is amazing, sipping on cocktails, watching the sun go down and just relaxing! Singapore is excellent and one of the cleanest cities I have ever been to, the people are friendly as can be and it has a wide variety of things to do. It has all the high end fashion you could ever wish to view or you can go and buy fakes for peanuts.
I was only there 3 days as I was heading to Bali, I already want to go back. If you like to party and drink alcohol it can be quite expensive, if you're on a budget I'd say there are better places to go than Singapore, I didn't mind that much since I wasn't there long but I think a week there would certainly drain the finances pretty fast. We went to a nice little restaurant by the Marina, had a pizza and some sides, food is damn cheap but our bottle of wine was $90, not terrible but the same bottle in a restaurant here would be $45.
