Some of you may or may not know how I got my job back at ccbill. I know JoAnn got a kick out of this story and im going to share it with you.
I graduated asu in ?99 and was out jobhunting and working at this small gift shop in downtown phoenix to keep up with my bills. One day I was driving home from work, stopped at a red light and a Bronco rear-ended me. I later ended up driving to my parents house, got out the phone book, found a nearby chiropractic office and made an appointment. I went to the office that evening, spoke to a very nice lady there (JoAnn) and began going there. About a month later I came in for one of my weekly appointments with a suit on, because I had just come from a job interview. JoAnn told me I looked nice and asked why I was wearing the suit. I told her I just had an interview, she asked me what my degree was in, I replied it was finance and she told me they were looking for an accountant and asked me to interview with them.
I had an interview the next day with her husband Frank, and got offered the accounting job. To be honest, when I walked through the door for the first time I had anticipated a short tenure there, but from the first day I loved the people there and the clients. JoAnn used to cook the staff there lunch, you should have seen the hamburgers, the size of softballs. And she was like a mom to us all. She was very proud of her family and treated everyone she came across with respect and courtesy. She was a strong lady with a very quick wit?last week she mentioned her doctor talking about physical therapy, and ?no situps??amazing lady
We will all miss you JoAnn
