I saw Tank about 3 nights ago at Chimayo's in Huntington Beach (I work upstairs) - I asked him why he was out drinking a couple nights before the fight and he just smirked and said that he was gonna fight but he wasn't really there for the fight - Showtime is putting up good money to pump up their MMA endevours.
This is not meant to take away from Kimbo's knock out... Just to say Kimbo was in there tonight to fight and make a name for himself - Tank was just in their for the mass amount of money Showtime paid him.
I gotta ask the question - Does anyone else find it odd that Kimbo after his last two fights says "all glory be given to God" while he has a huge team surrounding him and a big black shirt on him with huge "REALITY KINGS" logo's on him and his team's shirts?
I don't think the general public really knows what Reality Kings is... Or else they might find that odd tooComment

I like Kimbo and all but he has yet to be in any "real" fight in that series. You could tell Abbott was washed up by the way he looked and moved in the ring.
Kimbo looks very good and seems to be training hard and in great shape. So I'm not trying to take anything away from him, but he hasn't had a fight that has tested him. Meanwhile these guys he's fraught haven't exactly had loads of time to get ready for the fight.
Seems Kimbo is training non stop because he knows there is a "next" fight coming.. Meanwhile these other guys seem to have a month or so at best to get in to shape. I mean hell when was Abbott's last fight?
Personally I think XtremeXC has a vested interest in pumping Kimbo up as undefeated. As the announcer said several times.." Kimbo pulls in the crowd", but the crowd isn't gonna keep coming for 30 sec BS fights.. That and they are trying hard to pull Mike Tyson into the series.. Well, to those who say Tank is washed up, sure he is because no way does
any smart fight team put Kimbo in with the best yet.
That would be dumb. Kimbo just got into this type of fighting less than a
year ago. He shouldn't be able to compete with the best unless the
best are all hype.
Plus Kimbo has to earn some respect from the crowd that don't watch the
internet. So that means building a fight record in the sport first.
He can't/shoudn't get a title fight comming straight from the street; he's got to beat the other guys waiting in line first.

Except for the lame ass fight were Ricco Rodriguez fought the unfrozen caveman fighter, they were great fights. Knockouts all night long, and anyone one of the guys that fought tonight could of beat Tank. He's a washed up chump.

Ricco was way out of shape, with a big gut hanging over his shorts. Maybe he's been overeating after getting out of Celebrity Rehab several months ago. He looked pretty bad, for a guy who once defated Randy Couture to become the UFC heavyweight champion! His skill, experience and his opponent's injury allowed him to coast to a lame split decision loss, which he deserved.Comment
