    Why do sponsors pay less for Direct to Join links?

    maybe because there is no way to control how an affiliate is promoting a site before he sends him to the joinpage? I mean you can promise him the world on your site and send him straight to the join to sign up and when he gets in and sees he is fucked over he can CB.

    There is more risk I would say for the program

      Ok, so this is only because of a higher charge-back ratio, is that it?

      I'd love to get some input from program owners.
