- Even if they had the money to develop the sites and maintain free live cams with paid models, they wouldn't be able to throw in the shit load of money that getting the required huge popularity for that type of site would cost. Adult dating sites have to ask for money from the users because they have to pay for traffic. Adult sites just don't enjoy enough word of mouth. The web is a huge place, not enough people would know about that site to kill the tube sites' revenue. Besides, there are other ways that tube sites can make money. For example adengage, black label ads, selling custom advertising spots etc.
