Password sites started it all... Then Circle Jerk sites would end it, then TGP's came out and wouldn't do business with CJ sites (since they swapped traffic), back then swapping traffic was "bad".. The first TGPs started off like a password sites, they would link off to "back door listings of photos". You used to need peoples permission to "hot link a gallery"..

I thought of about 10 things as soon as I saw the thread title but some of the older guys (Colin, Anthony, etc) beat me to them. I will add, however, that I remember when 5% chargebacks were the GOAL and I remember when 2.5% was the RULE and then when 1% was the rule.....each time it was going to be the end of the industry.

think what he's saying is, the people that have actually been making him money aren't going to stop b/c he decided to take a risk and turn a revenue on content that would otherwise be stolen and make no money for him.

i doubt highly anyone that converts twistys < 1:500 - > 1:1000 day after day and has volume of sales will even blink at his decision about redtube.

perhaps some new people that may have tried it once, with a 1 single gallery may not, but his traffic base will be fine.

not to mention he has his own traffic and a very nice rebill base that isn't going to cancel memberships b/c of an ad on redtube. infact that branding may do cognative wonders for his brand awareness.
