This is actually true - don't know if you meant it to be funny but there is a documentary I am trying to find that explains how in some cases in small isolated populations their muscles are attached to the bone differently, and they are definitely cold adapted (sadly this was determined from nazi yimach shemom ve zichrom experiments). Not criticizing russians in any way apparently all caucasians have some neanderthal dna.

It's really hard to say, because you don't understand who "Russian people" really are. Russia is a multi-national country. There are so many very different nations with different religion, culture and ancestry. Ethnic Russians (like me) are just a part of the Russian citizens. There are Tatars, Finno-Ugric peoples,Kalmyks, Buryats, Peoples of the Caucasus, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Jews and many-many others.

So do you speak about Russians as an ethnic group or about Russia as a country?

I am not sure what you are getting at - Most American's are Caucasian...
