the industry is giving away Free Porn everywhere why even stay a member to a site if you can jack off for free.

and the theory of having great exclusive content doesnt matter anymore.

Sooner or later someone big in the industry will put up the cash. Ive said this before. Someone that has an upsell would be VERY VERY smart to develop new drm techniques that surfers will be able to adapt to easier. The person doing that should offer this tool FREE to any paysite willing to have an ad running in their members area for the non compete upsell.

Cant make this tool cost much, or it should be free. Make it simple so any members area can easily deploy it. Instead of wasting time trying to herd cats and trying to stop what is already released in the wild, work on keeping anything new secure. The ONLY way to stop piracy is to adopt industry wide new secure ways of content distribution.

I dont care how many piracy groups you form or whatever. You wont stop it that way. Like trying to catch fleas with a pair of chopsticks.

Industry wide new secure content distribution methods.

Lets say a company with the initals AFF that has shit loads of money. All the face they may of lost could be regained awfully fast for getting something like that developed. Giving it away free for just members area upsell.

But what do I know Im just a nobody.

The problem is that the crackers work faster than the technology. A company like that can build a great new tool, but it'll simply be cracked in a week. Guys crack the security on companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Sony, etc. Cracking a new tool in adult that was built by a company and team 1/100th the size will be done in days.

I still think the biggest obstacle is the law right now. Copyright laws are simply outdated and not built for the web. Until there is something in place that actually punishes people for doing this and doesn't just allow them to hide behind loopholes, it's a non-stop uphill battle.

Well couldnt make it so it was one crack and its broken for all sites. Would have to apply it in a way that a program owner could change it up at anytime. See some content out in the wild free, bam change it up. Cant tell me it cant be done. If all these big companies like netflix and vongo etc etc are doing it and keeping the movies safe enough to keep the studios to allow them to continue renting online, then it can be done.

The problem is money, and the industry not uniting. Solution? Easy someone can do it for greedy reasons. Long term investment. Shell out cash to the best and the brightest programers. YA it wont be cheap. But they can set it up to have their product as an upsell in every members area on every pornsite. Give away the software to do it free as long as they get an upsell. All kinds of possibilities that can be worked out.

Far more constructive to push towards that then trying to collect dandelion fluff on a windy day.

Hmm wonder if you could somehow set a video so anytime it played back it forced the ip of the user to be watermarked on the video, or that say it auto embeded the ip of the viewer into the video file itself. Any viewing autologs the ip, so if the video ends up on a torrent site it would carry a log of ips in order they arrived. So say you have a member that gives out the videos, by crosschecking member ip logs you could see what member gave away the video. Hmmm just a thought. For ones worried about capturing from the desktop have it use the ip as a watermark on top of the video. Hmm.
