Well it is not based on genders anyways so I do not see why some would and some would not. I am guessing those that do not would not for same reasons as straight people.

Good question. First many dont. Secondly boy bands are also very popular amongst the gay crowd. Enjoying someones music isnt always about sex but if you have a band full of hot guys I bet it helps.
I think alot of gay guys like the culture of spice girls etc. Some gay guys like the whole camp thing and see them as gay icons. Gay guys do not see themselves as girls.
