I think most of them are probably laserdiscs. But they could be records. All 30 of those amps on the ground use tubes. I never understood the fascination with McIntosh. They look cool as hell with their blue meters on the front, but I certainly wouldn't use tube amps in a home theater system.
Tell me that those things on the shelf at the top of this picture is BOOKS and not LP ALBUMS.
What kind of dork spends $6M on all that audio gear just to waste it all listening to noisy, wabbly, scratchy LP's? If that's all he listens to then its no wonder he spent all that money. If the source is shit it'll sound like shit no matter how much power or processing you toss at it. I bet some of his amps have tubes in them too. Geeze.

A major waste of money if you are just looking for the best performance. Professional Crown amps driving everything would have been the best bet and would probably have less distortion than the McIntosh.Comment

Shit for 6 million I would expect it to at least be the size of a small theater that the public would normally attend. Ya know maybe about the size of a basketball court.
I also would not want to see any of that shit. I would want my speakers invisable, I would not want to have to see them at all. Maybe I do not need my ego penis rubbed by showing every detail.
