Piracy is definitely affecting us but I think what hurt me the most was changes by Google. Surprisingly after compiling my stats I found it wasn't as bad as I thought.

But I think Jel had a bigger spread whereas my ratios were comparatively shitty even back in 2007 when his were much better.
I'm convinced that CCBill has been batching some affiliate credits for transactions for many months. The patterns are just crazy. I don't know why or what exactly is going on but it's weird to have these lulls and then sudden surges in sales. So unless you are doing extreme volume I wouldn't put much stock in weekly or even monthly numbers as an affiliate since something seems to be going on.

How are house sales, car sales, holiday sales and all other markets now in comparison to 2007? I think tubes have had an affect but I think people are spending a lot less now then 4 or 5 years ago. Good quality products are still doing well in the current market but I do agree things have changed a lot!Comment

Exactly what I experienced till we are working on new sites.
Concentrate on unique and exclusive content in high quality and give the user a hassle free experience he can't get on other sites.
And cams for sure are the way to go for decent money... reorded cam shows on tubes? no thanks ;-)Comment

It's all about the need. Is the need of the user changed? Is the need of the user filled in another way? Listen to the need! What does the customer wants? Of course there is still a need, but you have to fill in the need of the user in the best way.
