                  The Hendrix family's always been pretty tight-fisted about the use of his songs. That Hendrix movie, for example, that came out a few years ago was a total joke for a lot of reasons...one of them was that the estate wouldn't allow the studio to use any of Jimi's songs. That meant the only songs you heard during the entire movie were a few of the tunes he covered during his brief career.

                    There was also the issue with the Purple Haze vodka. I still see it in the liquor store, so not sure what happened in the end with that.

                      Yea, they indicted my old high school "acid" dealer too, he made a fortune of that purple blotter.
