They are trying to force everyone to open up an account with M$ - They want everyone to have an email account with them (easy to access from the tiles screen) and then to tie that into the "store" (also easy to access from the tiles screen). This way M$ can bring in profit from selling stuff online... If M$ locks this down it will be freaking huge for them.

I think it's poorly done and I hate the new OS.
