Obama Crushes Clinton in Nebraska and Washington

Plus he's leading in Louisiana in exit polls with 82% of the Black vote and 29% of the white vote....

Plus the Black population in Nebraska and Washington is VERY low...He had to convince the white population that he is the TRUTH to win those states.

    IT'S A MOVEMENT!!!!

I think at this point that Obama is a shoe on to win the democtratic nomination. Hillary has already won NY and California and will be behind in delegates. If she can get the Florida and Michigan delegates counted and wins Texas she has a shot. Other than that she's toast now.

Isn't Washington and Nebraska like 3 whopping electoral votes between them or something like that? It's been a while since I've given a shit but don't plan to get too into it with the Mutts running from both parties this time around

A few Republicans might have voted for hilary because they think its really bill running the show. They will not vote for Obama. McCain crushes Obama by 10%.

Also, how long am I going to have to take this zinc and folic acid before I bust an enormous nut?

Obama really needs to start talking directly to middle class white folks & latinos if he wants a chance of winning in the end.

The vast majority of voters are not in the inner cities & trailer parks.

It will take more than 4 years to change the Constitution. Even if not, Arnold will be 65 in 2012. Please enough old guys.

And if he won in those 2 states in the manner he did in a primary than it would be impressive. Being a caucuses greatly sways it in his favor due to the hassle and time required in order to do it. He does extremely well in caucuses with mostly white voters because his base is college educated affluent democrats. Her base is lower educated, scraping by making under $50k a year. Those people don't have the time to take off work to dedicate to a caucuses.

Outside of his home state, and the south where his 84% of the black vote is carrying him, he is not winning very many primaries at all. His 2 big wins were Conn where he won by 5% and Missouri where he won by 1%.

Now if he can go ahead and win states like Ohio and Texas and in any convincing manner, then I will be impressed by his ability to reach outside his youth and black voters movement.

He is making up ground no doubt and catching on, but to overstate his win in the caucuses without explaining why that happens and compare to the primaries, doesn't tell the full story.

And Obama was ahead of Clinton in New Hampshire and California as well and lost by a good margin. Polls mean nothing.

Um everyone counts. If Gore had won NH in 2000 and it's 4 electoral votes he would have won the election. Kerry had 252 out of 270 needed. He lost NM and Iowa 2 states Gore won in 2000. Had he won those he'd woud have had 264 only needing a mere 6 electoral votes to win.

This election is going to come down to the smallest electoral states. For the record Nebraska has 5 and Washington has 11 electoral votes.

He is actually doing his best with college graduates. Hillary is the one taking in the votes from low income, uneducated voters. She is also leading in hispanics.

Here is a run down of just the primary states between them both. Since primaries allow the same voting as the general election and gives a truer sense of what is happening nation wide. Primaries so far.

Clinton states won: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida (since nobody campaigned and all were all on ballot I count as legit), Mass, Michigan (don't count since she was only one on ballot), New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee,

Obama states won: Alabama, Conn, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, South Carolina, Utah

Total vote count in primary states.

                                              Clinton: 8,612,708

                                              Obama: 8,073,245

                                              Total Vote Difference: 539,463

Total Delegate Counts in primary states.

                                              Clinton: 768

                                              Obama: 683

Total Delegate Difference: 85 without super delegates.

Delegates doesn't include Florida or Michigan.

Vote Counts include Florida but not Michigan since Florida they all didn't campaign (Barrack did run tv ads he said were tied into a national ad buy) and were all on the ballot. Michigan was excluded because Barrack and Edwards withdrew from the ballot and were listed as undecided.

He lost NM and Iowa 2 states Gore won in 2000. Had he won those he'd woud have had 264 only needing a mere 6 electoral votes to win.
