I think what happened to America was, no one wants to do anything these days. Also, too many people are born into easy ass situations. Even I was, sort of.

i slept on this thread & decided that the Disney channel is to blame for how young people have unrealistic views of the world.

            Well, without generalizing.

The general shift towards dumbification, an absence of any "role models" in any real sense of the word, the shortest attention span and most exposure to massmedia in the history, not the best mix for one rising up.

While I appreciate your replies, they are simply straight up ignorant if that is your logic to back up your talking points. If you want to actually make a point, feel free to add in some facts versus the senseless nonsense.

                No offense. Thank you.

Sounds like you felt backhanded there slightly!

Think of a nice spin off of this, if you have lots of nice things it'll make it even easier to pick up one of those really pretty me-generation girls.

Not only that but peer pressure and the constant fear that you'll be "reported to social services" unless you coddle your kids to the extreme, no matter how out of control and entitled they act in public places. With cell phones everywhere and everyone watching, good luck trying to keep an out of control kid from acting out in public. Next thing you know, your on YouTube with a caption like "Mother of the Year" runner up!
