Miami to Miami Beach

do yourself a favor...stay on Miami Beach. It's about 15-20 minutes away from Miami...but a completely different world.

Some decent hotels:
"The Cadet" on James Street
"The Marriot" on Washington Ave & 15th

I agree. If you are trying to save a little on the hotel costs, look to North Miami beach, and then drive the 11 miles south every day to play.

the city of Miami beach is 11 miles long, and 1.5 miles at its widest.

There are a couple of nice hotels on Brickell (Downtown Miami) but they are pricey. I would stay in Aventura and drive down daily.
