    how to email people who signed up to my site

    I have a couple hundred emails from people who WILLINGLY signed up to my sites over the years. How do I email them all without looking like a spam artist?

    What SMTP do I use, any apps you'd recommend? Most are hotmail based and I seem to get "blacklisted" after I send only 5 messages...

      Phplist (http://www.phplist.com/) works well for me.
      If you have Fantastico installed on your hosting you may be able to instal with just a click or two.

          If they agreed to receive email when they joined them any mailing them is fine. If they didn't then you are spamming them no matter how you word it.

              They signed up. Alot of them are hotmail and my problem is when i send a couple within minutes, they all bounce back 550 because hotmail think I'm spamming..
