Please Recommend a RELIABLE Web Host, Mine Sucks!

Our servers have been down for almost 4 days now! Totally unacceptable and no support in sight whatsoever. The host is called OnSmart and they are terrible.

Can someone please recommend a RELIABLE webhosting company that does mainstream as well?

Try calling National Net at 3am EST. You'll get a live person every time.

Yes. Whole day down is way too much. I'd go insane if my sites were down for this long

There were some great hosts already recommended in this thread. GFY is a merciless board - do a search and see how many threads you can find with people complaining about the host. A host that's recommended by an adult webmaster and has not been lynched on GFY will likely be a good host.

My review, from my own personal experience, of some of the hosts trying to get your business:

Phatservers is the best. I've been with them for 5 years and their support is almost always great. They normally respond to you within minutes. They're not the cheapest but by far the best I've tried.

Naked Hosting gives pretty good support and they're cheap. I have had some downtime issues with them but nothing major. I only host 3 small sites with them however.

Webair has sucked major ass for me, at least recently. I've had 15 hours downtime with them in the past 4 days and it takes them 9 hours to respond to a fucking support ticket.
