List candidates on behalf of Adult industry

Best to worst as I see it:

Obama - for Net Neutrality and came out strongly against censorship in the last debate

Clinton - for Net Neutrality, not so solid on free speech issues (video games, flag-burning)

Romney - dodges Net Neutrality, tolerated porn when his hotels were selling it but must pander to base

Paul - initially against Net Neutrality but now not sure, opposed some obscenity legislation

McCain - against Net Neutrality, wants porn filtering, harsh obscenity reporting burden on sites like GFY

Huckabee - wishy washy on Net neutrality, jihad against porn

    Any disagreement?

Show me ONE candidate that will stand up and say "I support the adult industry" Anyone that thinks ANY politician will stand up to defend us is out of their head. Vote for the one going to keep more money in your pocket, and keep our country safe. Period.

Ron Paul will not touch the internet. He will keep it free.

Poker Player Alliance (fighting for online poker rights) realizes this and gives Ron Paul an A+

Generally I am just as cynical. However this is the closest I've ever heard a candidate go to telling the fundies to
"And I reject the notion of censorship as an approach to dealing with this problem."

Except to keep it free, you have to regulate it via Net Neutrality legislation, which isn't strictly libertarian. I appreciate his no government interference attitude, but in this case it's more like monopoly busting.

You r a tool. Our current president did nothing to protect this country and has only weakened our security by killing our economy trying to secure other peoples shitty country borders. Obama will support not restricting the internet which is in essence standing up for our industry. Ron Paul the same. All of the others dont deny wanting to change the the way the internet works.
No doubt one may quote history to support any cause, as the devil quotes scripture.

Oh fucking stop, they are not going to do that but it wont be a priority. Janet Reno said going after adult porn was waste of resources and time. Not for it but its not important.

The point is. If they are pressured by voters, or by others to crack down on adult they will fold like a house of cards during an earthquake.

no candidate will openly support the porn industry but it's interesting indeed to know their stance on certain things.

If McCain is against net Neutrality then it's bad enough already cause Net neutrality is a crucial thing (I think most GFY'ers would agree) and if he's also for porn filtering, then it can mean, he'd be more likely to support an .xxx domain extension for porn (perhaps even mandatory).

Why the attitude over a question that hasn't been, and probably won't be asked? and what does it have to do with who has a chance at winning..
You said show you a candidate.. not a top runner..

No candidate would say they are for the adult industryi. It's silly to even think that..
Those who are against censorship is as good as you're gonna get in that direction..

There aren't any, but that doesn't mean a damn thing.

The real question is which of the candidates (if any) will come after the adult industry with guns blazing and which ones (if any) really don't give a rat's ass about the porn industry.

It's the second group that will (most likely) have enough sense not to waste government resources on "fighting" pr0n.

I think the original poster read the candidates rather well

What does our current president have to do with the question?
