Things are actually looking good.

The book as been done for a while. I had some legal issues with my former agent. To make a long story short they were committing fraud, were arrested and are currently pending trial. The problem was that I had a contract with them and basically had to wait for the contract to expire. That has finally happened. Since the contract has expired I am free to sign elsewhere. I have been talking to a few agents and am in the process of getting a new one.With any luck that will happen pretty soon.

In the meantime I have been talking to some other people about building an audience. I am working on a "serial" book which will be released in 8-10 "episodes" each being between 8,000 and 10,000 words. The idea is to give the first episode away for free then charge a small amount for the rest. They will be released as Kindle E-books. I likely will not make a lot of money with this project (unless it catches on), but it is a good way to build an audience and introduce myself to the world.

I am also in the process of putting together some short stories that I will release on E-book and other ways. I plan to use these as another way to build up an audience.

After a lot of frustration and waiting things are finally staring to happen. I think it is going to be a fun, busy 2013 for me.
