    Why PPS for cams??

    Why would anybody accept to promote cams for PPS? Isn't revshare the clearly better option for a service like cams where some customers constantly spend money?

    It just does not make any sense...I understand the cam programs that offer PSS it is much more profitable for them to give a one time payment and reap the long term rewards...but I see affiliates doing PSS and I can't help but wonder if there is something I am missing?

    How is a one time blast a better deal than long term profits?

          If you aren't paying for traffic then revshare is ok but if you are paying for traffic then PPS might be a better option for ROI

          Also from experience, there are many people that signup then maybe buy credits one time and never buy again. So you get like $5 with revshare total for these kind of members whereas with PPS you woulda make x8 + more money

                  some companies have a different idea of revshare and what "lifetime" means, add in consumer's penchant for hopping from site to site, problems with surfer's card rebilling, etc. etc. -- there are MANY reasons why an affiliate's revshare payment can be far less than PPS -- regardless of how much money the cam sponsor makes on that referral

                          Programs offer PPS simply because there's affiliates who prefers it.
                          We not even offer revshare at all, there only PPS or pay per free.

                                      As bloggerz stated.
                                      Few affiliates buy traffic from various sources and don't want to wait for getting revshare they only interested in PPS and they send volume sales ,they want money fast so they can again invest in buying traffic.

                                      answer is simple, need money fast choose PPS, else ready to wait for big bucks, choose rev-share.

                                                  Not really a factor, once a member signs up via your affiliate link then they are yours for life and no matter how they hit the site again you'll receive a % of their spends. Sometimes with revshare it can take quite a while before you even break even on your cost to acquire traffic. Promoting pps or ppl generally allows for a quicker return and the ability to then put that money back into more traffic at a much faster rate. The risk you run with pps however is the chance that you may miss out on that one big whale who decides to spend a few grand month after month.

                                                          had a friend on webcamwiz PPS, then they decided to downgrade ALL of his sites, because a few WLs werent performing well (the pps guys werent buying tons of credits) so they downgraded all

                                                          his average 1k monthly dropped to $250, revshare sucks

                                                              u are wrong.rev share isn't the best way every time.100% depend on keyword quality.i use both,rev on hq keywords and pps on keywords that convert pretty bad.
                                                              never buy traffic for cams,will just not work.

                                                                      Depends if you want the money now or later, or if you expect your users to end up spending more in the long run, or take the quick win. Obvoiusly there is chance involved, you may win agains the company on some customers with a PPS, but you may be cutting yourself off from more commission over x years in the future.
