But hubby & I are moving to the Poconos end of next month where the population is only about 300 people whoooo hoooo!

Our new house is so remote you have to get satelite or you are completely stranded. I looked into dsl and cable but no one knew what the hell I was talking about

LadyD, hey there. Yeah, it's hot as hell out there right now, which is why I'm inside - sucking up the AC! I dread seeing my PECO bill this month though. During the last heatwave, it wound up being almost $300.00 for one month. Yikes!

I know what you mean about the internet access problems in the Pocono area. We have a cabin up in Mehoopany, Pa (above the Poconos-near Scranton/Wilkes Barre) and there's no cable tv or internet access available there at all. The cable company said that we'd have to pay $3500.00 for them to run a line for us. Nope, that's not gonna happen, since we're not up there that often. lol
