well that's the thing - the uber-lefties spew that line as a defence/argument whenever anyone questions the sense in allowing these extremists to remain in a country they so clearly despise. As if people are bashing extremists based on race, or even religion really, when in fact people are bashing the individuals involved.
It's pretty much the answer to my own question as to how we got in the state that this can happen.
