                          If MSFT is smart, it would pour BILLIONS more into beefing up Yahoo's search technology and widening Yahoo's (already wide) traffic reach. Yahoo might be a second fiddle in the search game, but Yahoo kicks Google's ass in the portal game. If MSFT is smart, it would wage a two prong attack on Google. Plus start moving its sizeable desktop software suite to an ASP model quickly with Yahoo as the primary online distribution point.

                          Will MSFT reduce google into another Netscape? Not currently. But if it plays its cards right and Google makes a few wrong moves... it's anyone's guess.
