    To Catch A DomainScamingGuy - Moderators help perhaps? (+pic)

    So this guy has been trawling the boards for ICQs to contact and attempt to spam with phony domain sales. Someone has his IP address.

    We can get that IP address to a mod and he can either tell us who the user is or block him or something.

    So, if you were scammed by this guy who got your ICQ here and who introduces himself as 'such and such from GFY' - post here with his ICQ UIN or handle and if you have it, IP address so we can prevent others from being scammed.

          Tell your sponsors who use epassporte heavily to complain too. This guy is scum and Epass protects him.

                  I have to imagine that they're just identity thieves and they've stolen lots of people's information to setup multiple accounts. Epass might have some information to help a sleuth but I can't imagine they have anything of real value. It would seem to me that the multiple accounts are all representative of different identities that they've stolen.

                          This is theft. It's illegal. Someone just needs to push it. They have the information needed. They know the ip #'s and where the money is withdrawn, etc. Someone needs to be proactive about this.

                                                          391636496 just tried to scam me on domain sales, posed as Kimo trying to sell Boobcam.com, Analcam.com, and BJcams.com for low $xxx. If something is too good to be true, it probably is. Just a tip people, any time you think someone is trying to scam you on domains, offer to handle the transaction through escrow and pay all the escrow costs. No one who wants a sale has a reasonable reason to say no to escrow they don't have to pay for.

                                                                                                          Hotbabes.com is $100,000 name easily closer to $200K the way things are going right now.

                                                                                                          I own SquirtingPussy.com (4K visitors a month of type-in) & AnimeXXX.com (9K a month) I estimate Hotbabes.com would get at least 20K to 30K in visitors a month.

                                                                                                          The moral of this story is:

                                                                                                          1. If it's too good to be true it is.
                                                                                                          2. Always use a escrow service.

                                                                                                              I got scammed years ago from a guy that sold me a domain in Africa. He did at least point it to my site but then asked for more money later. He did it to a lot of people. As they say...TIA.

                                                                                                              This is one of those lessons you will remember. Not a big deal you could have lost it in Vegas just the same. Get over it move on get back to work.

                                                                                                                  just because it's greedy newbs getting ripped off doesn't mean we should do any less to stop him. the only people who fall for it are the ones who let the dollars signs rolling in their eyes blind them from the fact that it's obviously too good to be true, doesn't take away fromt he fact that the guy is fucking what are more than likely honest people just trying to make some cash...

                                                                                                                                          his "birthday" is Feb. 3rd, which popped a message, which prompted me to go "Who-tf is that?" and do a Google search for his ICQ number, expecting to see his sig. Instead I landed here.
