Car -- good call. I'll have to learn to use my legs.

Yeah - sell the car and get a bicycle - keeps you fit and "computer" belly in shape!

The reason why most businesses fail are:
· people can't seperate the income from profit and spend all incoming money.
· "I'm self-employed now, so I should have a big car, expensive mobile phone, flash office, you name it..."
· no vision for the future and bad planning
· they simply try to copy a good business idea with their own bad business practice.

I'd say: GO FOR IT!

I have worked in an employment situation for less than 6 months since I turned 18 (and I'm 47 now) - some years had been hard, but overall I did fairly well and never regretted a thing. The freedom alone is worth more than money can buy!
