    how can I get a russian host site to honor a dmca

    as the title says... one of our sites was site ripped, and posted on hxxp://www.imperia-of-hentai.ru/etcetc...

    Sent the correct forms but getting a big middle finger I suspect. same goes for the link site posting the links to iperia.

    Any ideas or just grin and take it?

      keep sending it over and over, maybe they will just get annoyed and take it down. other then that you will need a lot of luck.

          Correct me if I am wrong, but a Russian site doesn't need to honour a DMCA (which is a US law) request.

          Don't you need to follow the procedures set down in Russian law? (If there is such a thing)

              With reference to the title - you don't. Russian hosts don't have to comply with DMCA notices. Try a different route.

                                          Hit the domain registrar hit the upstream provider for the host. and the host as well. Hit the advertisers on the site and their hosts and providers and anything that you can.
