What a fucking excuse for a news source.. They should just make a britney.cnn.com and get over with it

(CNN) -- Police officers were dispatched to Britney Spears' house Thursday morning, police said.

Several officers with the North Hollywood Police Department left for the pop star's house about 12:55 a.m. Thursday (3:55 a.m. EST), an officer told CNN.

Spears was hospitalized in early January after police were called to her home to mediate a custody dispute.

Spears has been in a heated battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline over their two sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.

Federline, Spears' former backup dancer, holds primary custody of the children. Spears has been in trouble with the court concerning her compliance with court orders in the custody case.

I think it's fricking ridiculous. I don't think CNN has ever been a very reliable or trustworthy news source, but they used to be a few notches above a tabloid.

I think the fascination with Brittany is pretty sick.
