That is EXACTLY what I am saying.
I just drove from Sacramento to LA and back, and a lot in-between. I don't trust ninety percent of you behind wheel, no less do I trust ninety percent of you with a firearm.
You all scream about your need to protect yourself, yet I am guessing not one of you have taken any hand to hand combat classes. At the same time, you all think you are James Bond and you think that at 3am from a dead sleep you'll be able to protect yourself from a unknown amount of criminals without shooting your own family.
It rarely works that way. That fucker who made the videos for the NRA was shot dead in his own home surrounded by his firearms. When "it" happens, it happens quickly, and you never see it coming.
Yes, I have firearms. But I am under no illusion that I will be able to defend myself at 3am (this is why I have an alarm and a dog and a baseball bat), nor will my firearms protect me at the movies or the mall.
