businesses should get together and sue spamhaus for loss of business...they have no place intercepting e-mails with a system that is costing legit businesses money...

Obviously everyone knows that, just as everyone in prison is innocent, spammers only ever send out 100% legit emails and are punished for it for no reason.
Sadly for spammers, it's not up to spammers to decide what is junk; it's up to the people/service providers who have to receive (and endure the costs of) the shit that spammers spew out.

im not going to tell you how but there is an easy way to discover a few spamhaus "honey pots"...you will need to sacrifice some resources but once you have the "honey pots" you can pretty much destroy your competition with little effort by subscribing to your competitions lists and giving a honey pot e-mail as your own...
you will say "ah but you have to double opt in" because if you don't your competition will not send out to single opt in...again its a very simple trick to confirm opting in to your competition but still using a spamhaus honey pot...
heres where the problem arises...they will NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT tell you who is complaining...you have to "have a way of addressing anonymous complaints"
this means that you if you have a list with 100.000 legit double opt in e-mails you are fucked...they do NOT care about you being a victim and they do NOT care about your previous efforts...

Spamhaus just publish data to a service which may or may not be used by mail server admins. The reason most mail server admins use the service is because without it there would be a never ending flood of spam of uncontrollable proportions.Comment

Maybe it's just me, but the spam I still occasionally receive seems so pathetic. As I'm surfing the internet, I get embedded ads on the webpages I'm on that correspond to Google/Yahoo searches that I've recently done. And though not always interesting to me, they're at least somewhat relevant, and they seem to know where I live, my sex, and other demographic details.
The spam I get though is just laughable--buy recommendations for penny stocks touting how they'll be worth $26 a share in a few weeks, inquiries from Eastern European women who want to marry me and saying they're replying to ads that I never posted on dating sites I never joined. Penis enlargement pills. They're beyond lame.
