CMS - What should I choose?

I have seen some posts in this board about CMS's.
MAS, SiteDepth, Carma, PaysiteCMS, aWiz all were anylized.

PaysiteCMS appears to be a very nice help to manage a paysite, but 30k!! OMG! No way.
So, all the others can be my choice.
Can any of the mentioned software (except paysiteCMS) manage a site like dvdstore.com?? I mean fully managed - members area, previews, split movies,
convert into different codecs, make thumbs, model name database, keyword optimization on pages, etc.

I like sitedepth. Im not into doing much of the video processing server side personally. It does image resize and watermarking. Nice thing about sitedepth is its a one time payment, and its a reasonable amount.

After a few hiccups on my end, site depth has pulled through.

For the price, easy learning curve, and ease of use, I'd go with Site Depth.

Have you considered using the new cms VIST by Mansion Productions?

It was written exactly to be a backend for online video stores, and can do all of the required things here - tour v/s members area, preview trailers, video scenes organized into full DVDs with covers, synopsis, cast list, groupings by model, director, production studio, keywords etc.
The only thing it won't do for you out of the box is video codecs transcoding, but if this is a dealbreaker, (and if you have a mighty server) we may add-in such module as a custom-made solution.

Sitedepth doesnt have the power you want.
CARMA is very decent. From a templating and control front, you can literally do *anything* you want. It uses SMARTY for the templates, and with that plugin architecture, you're able to do literally anything.

The things I've stretched CARMA to do are pretty amazing.
With the latest versions, it auto converts videos you upload into flvs etc.

Wth that said, and i'd have to say with most, if not all CMS systems - they're not going to optimize your pages automatically - you have to give them the templates - but you can create optimised pages, etc.

In any case, from my experience of a lot of adult cms's, it would be CARMA.

www.elevatedx.com is way ahead of the curve. Feature rich, stable and capable of growing with your needs. And this is coming from someone who HAS bought SD, AWW, awiz and a few others.

I can only speak to my experience, and it's powerful enough for what I need at the moment. But I only have 3 adult membership properties remaining.
