They definitely do hurt thats for sure but once you're around 15-20 minutes in...the area just kind of goes numb from pain. You have to almost take yourself out of body and not think about the pain or whats physically going on around you at the time. Jesus man mine took about a half of an hour and that was enough for ME.
The most painful things I have done were, having a kidney fail when I was a child, cutting my finger almost off, and letting a woman whip me. LoL.
