Because educated people obviously love to have absolutely no say in their own govts and to be ruled by cleric law. Not to mention women all around the world want to have no freedom of choice of whom they can marry or have any sort of freedom of decision with-in their own lives.
Obviously those leaders in the middle east are stand up guys and just have their people's best interests in mind.
