I have been seeing a lot of this lately .. but today, I was totally amazed.

WTF is this? Did I miss their announcement of porn allowance or these ads are not "adult"? lol .. Someone enlighten me

As I understand it, Google and Yahoo both limit what keywords an adult site can bid on, but they do not limit just advertising an adult site to appropriate keywords.

my ad got kicked from google for using the word girl. According to google, girl = kid, therefore I must be advertising kid porn.

They have always allowed it, just as above states, they dont allow girl, teen, young, etc in descriptions...

The reason you don't see it much, is because paying $0.10 for 10,000 free porn surfers is not worth it. Back in the days when it was penny bidding
it was ok, due to increase in business they couldnt handle the entire load so up went the prices

i think the issue is more with keyword correlation. look at it from google's perspective. if "girl" is one of the keywords your ad may be shown for searches with "girl" in it that may not be adult.

I believe those adult network ads show up mostly on domain parking services as a deal between google and the parking service.

You have no clue to what you are talking about. Firstly if you're advertising FREE porn then you're fucking retarded. With the right keywords you can easily make $10,000 in sign ups or more to a sponsor with 10,000 hits. Google didn't up the prices the bidders up the prices. If you have 10 idiots all bidding a $1 for a keyword then no you're not getting you're ad shown on the 1st page for 10 cents.
