The only sites who will survive will fit into two categories:
1. It is a mega site with mega traffic and a huge member base or belongs to a company with mega traffic, mega membership bases, and has mega dollars....FTV,Twistys...and fill in your favorite sponsor like dukedollars, lightspeed, topbucks, etc... that has been around for years
2. You provide niche content and provide excellent customer service.....They will be the 'boutiques' like Barney's is to suits and Cartier is to watches.
Those two categories only applies to people who produce and/or distribute their own content on their own sites.....I have no knowledge about freesites/tgp's/tubesites, etc. that generates mega traffic like freeones, sleazydream, the hun, redtube and others since I have never run sites like those...I can only speak from the producer/pornographer side...
If you're joe blow producing vanilla content that is no different from the terabytes of content that big companies own, then you're SOL.
