Thats a name I not heard in a while, but I do not think he posts here.

I did a little searching and found a thread, that Homegrown pre-paid him for content, and he didn't deliver.

I know he was running IsisLee.com awhile back, but that site seems to be down. I worked with Isis 1-2 years ago, so I'll try and contact her to see if she can add anything.

He was in my office a few months ago.

He was paid and he delivered content but when we dug into the paperwork let's just say we found some glaring issues... so we asked for those scenes in question to be remedied or replaced... and now at least in our opinion he appears to be ducking out of the obligation.

I am not going to come out and say DON'T work with the guy if you are now or considering it in the future, but I will say that he should not be paid in advance for anything, not even a down payment, and take extra special care to make sure the paperwork is in order because the guy definitely has issues in that department.

Everyone can fall on hard times but the measure of a person is how they resolve those problems... with integrity or a lack there of... All I can say at this point is that I am truly disappointed in the guy and we won't be working with him again any time in the near or far future.

My wife and I are very upset with Dave Slaughter because we have also pre paid this guy for content back in March of 2007 before the Phoenix show. He and his wife really needed the money. They were close to losing their house, etc, etc.
I had a content deal in the works with him so I pre paid him $2500. He promised to deliver the content in a timely manner. After chasing him around for months and listening to the stories I have no choice but to hire an attorney. He talks alot to everyone trying to cuts deals in anything he can but I believe that he has so much going on and can't concentrate on what he promises people. I'm no idiot, I've known this guy for some time and because he confided in me, and told me how many people have screwed him in the past, I thought I could trust him. But it doesn't seem that way after months of excuses. After he's changed his phone numbers and moved is was very hard to contact him. Eventually, I came to this board last year and posted a very nice message looking for him. I got his phone number through another webmaster (small world) and contacted him out of the blue only for him to scream and yell at me about posting and tracking him down. Then when everything calmed down again, I sent him 3 hard drives before the holidays, 500gig, 250 and an 80 gig. Apparently he didn't have any money to buy them to put my content on. Whatever...more money invested, never heard again from him. My patience is wearing extremely thin here.

I hate to bring anything to the boards that is negative, but I am also affected here by his business practices and felt it to be my duty to share this information.

I'm done fucking around with him...

I wish this guy would just contact us and settle. Would be much easier. Additionally, I gave him a few hard drives at the end of last year to get the job done because I'm a nice guy. Do you believe this? How could you fuck a fellow webmaster when you've been in business so long? This guy is something else.
