and no I didn't get banned... haha

I think I just used the most restraint I ever have on a message board since 1995, I swear!

It really is amazing how message boards have turned into these "things"... Its like this place had its own version of all the trolls over here, but mainstream so they didn't cuss at me or anything. Even worse.

and it was a mostly female board. I can't take the cattiness!

I love this place... and love telling you all to go fuck yourself with no regard.

pardon my venting, but this has to be one of the coolest boards on the net.

I'm a member of several mainstream boards and they are VERY user friendly. Most are money, food and medical (personal and biz) boards though.

It's funny at some of the things the investment boards won't let get posted (one became so heavily moderated I stopped even reading it) then I come here and see all kinds of wild stuff

Though as far as personal information, this board is much more moderated. One of the investment boards has guys with access to Pacer and other dbs and damn if they can't dig up every piece of dirt possible and post it. Except for spam, it's a mostly self moderated board.

ive never really posted on mainstream webmaster boards. ive always found those communities to be very "hush hush" with everything and they dont like when you try and help people out.

a while back i used to post on this yahoo small biz board and was chased off because i was trying to help someone out with their AdWords account. i got a lot of rude PMs from supposed "sem agencies" telling me not to give out free info because i was taking business from them. no offense but if your main link of business is a free public board and threated by someone giving someone else advice... pick a new business

Yeah I did the introduction thing, and the ask for creative input or advice thing, and the very first reply I got was "This thread is in the wrong forum, and no I don't blah blah blah people I don't blah blah blah...."

I should've known what to expect, but yet I didn't see it coming.

So, I tried to stay positive in the thread and not get banned. Next thing I know, some chick is telling me blah blah blah and I get into it with her. Then just as I am about to maybe pay attention to what she is saying and give it some thought, I check out her site. Big laugh, it was terrible. Her credibility was about zero.

I almost let the bitch get to me, but in the end the admin's didn't even lock my thread, they moved it, but it stayed in the green.

and oh good, I can at least call her a bitch here.

because I didn't start it!

I kept telling people to be nice to me or get out of the thread, and I got "this isn't your thread! you don't own it!" Fucking women!

I was a member of a hysterectomy board where the moderators would remove anything that referred to sex (which IMO, is a pretty darned important subject to talk about when dealing with a hyster) because "young eyes" could be watching, lol. How many kids are hanging out at a hysterectomy board??!!
