I have a few sites...not necessarily competing for the same keywords but all playing in the same market/niche. I generally do the same thing for all of the sites as far as SEO & marketing. But "site A" is kicking the other sites asses. At first I thought it was because of backlinking (from site A's older incarnation) but those backlinks have almost irrelevant keywords at this point. Then I got to looking at domain age...whereas site A's domain is a few years old and the other sites' domains are a couple of months old
So I guess my questions are:
1) Is the domain age whats giving site A the boost or is it the backlinks?
2) If it's domain age, how do younger sites compensate to get some good SE traffic?
