The conversation was about Gaddafi not about US senators. I see no need to equate the two other than for you to display your hatred for the US.

We were already told well in advance that Libya, Syria and Lebanon (later this year) were on the hit list. It's no coincidence that Al CIAda have showed up in both Libya and Syria, and that we've been told Assad/Gaddafi are attacking their own people so hence we need regime change.

Gaddaffi didn't do anything wrong. I live in country that there were many business ties with Libya and I knew several people that worked there for years (selling technology,food, learning Libyans, making hospitals...).What most of people don't understand is different mentality of people living there. What Ghadaffi did was a masterpiece since they lived in peace and tribes were not in war, while after him, everything went to hell, ina a same way CIA is trying to do in Syria now (Syria is a country where muslims and Christians live in peace and together without any problem which is rare in Muslim world) but I guess it is harder to do it when Russians are on your way, so it is lasting for two years and thousands of dead people and devastated infrastructure.

I was laughing because someone claiming that Gaddafi was a good guy couldn't be serious. But I see that there are more people here, who really think that. I'm amazed at people's stupidity at times but if they want to believe that's fine.

I do not know anything about this Rothchild banker garbage. But I clearly stated that I have not voted since 1967. (I suppose you were not yet born in 1967.) If you do not like Québec's language police. Then perhaps anglophones should try giving up their love of imperialism. At the very least no one is forcing you to visit Québec or live there.

That's 100% untrue, they loved Gaddafi, I watched documentaries before the war propaganda started him; Gaddafi was their hero.

This is a well known technique which the CIA have been using to overthrow foreign governments for many years - create fake protests, fund a terrorist opposition army (if the people inside the country like their leader a lot, then send in an army from outside i.e. Al Qaeda), it's was a foreign-funded coup.

Yes, my uncle was renting apartments here for Lybian students. Government paid them everything (giving them money to spend, education costs and rent). Now they are not here, once Ghadaffi was killed and country destroyed since socialistic system was destroyed there in that war.

I don't think Jack Layton was corrupt. His only problem was that he was a socialist and he would have bankrupted the country if he made it into power. Other than that he seemed like a decent guy.

I'm not sure what Harper or Alberta ever did to you to make you hate them so much. But judging by your over-the-top insults I am guessing whatever the reason is it is not really very rational. You should love Alberta since they pay for most of Quebec's social programs.

Who cares if I like the language police or not? The fact is that their behaviour is far more fascist and nazi-like than anything Harper has ever done. Perhaps francophones should give up their love of fascism, social engineering and xenophobia.

And what has any of it to do with Anglo imperialism? Quebec was founded by imperialists from France who were at war with imperialists from England and the French lost. Get over it. Half the population of Quebec used to be English. Not any more because they have been driven out by the French.

For the record my mother was born and raised in Quebec and she is buried there now. The area she came from was at one time completely english, settled by mostly Irish and other english speaking immigrants. Now all of the english speaking people have been driven out by Quebec's fascist language laws and the only proof that they ever existed there is all of the Irish, Scottish and English names on the tombstones. The government of Quebec is basically engaged in ethnic cleansing.
