The CIA have been trying organize a successful coup against Chavez for many years, but Chavez is so popular so it's hard. The International Bankers don't want Chavez giving the profits of the Venezuelan oil to the people, like what Gaddafi did, instead they want to pay a low price for the oil and sell it for a lot more, keeping the Venezuelan people out of the loop. They also want the Venezuelan people as debt slaves, whereas if Chavez keeps giving them the oil money that won't happen.
