    Damn Weather!

    Second week in a row I have to reschedule a flight due to snow.

    Small planes and strong crosswinds is not a good combination. We hired a pilot for the company that also is a blackhawk pilot for the army reserves and he chickened out.

          It's gonna be 75 degrees here all week. Nice.

          Haven't seen snow in years... Nearly twenty years really.

                                  That' why we hired him. I am a risky pilot. I would've looked out the window of my office 3 more times..and thought. It's starting to clear. And then head over to the airport and give it a go. However, I NEVER fly across Lake Michigan in a single. The trip around Chicago lakefront is fun and very scenic.

                                          Sideways rain and howling wind today. On my way to the supermarket I just threw my inside-out umbrella on the sidewalk in anger and left it there like a G... it was useless.

                                                  See the flag in the snow picture. Near blizzard conditions here. Right now I can't see across the street. It's nearly a white-out.

                                                                                                  Was in Madison Monday, yesterday took me 3 hours to get from Kenosha to downtown Chicago due to the sideways blowing snow.
