Imagine you are promoting a program and you discover a banner or banners at the bottom of the page with another id then yours...what would you do???

for me, smaller traffic leaks, no big problems (talking about things generating like 1% or less in traffic leak). Big traffic leaks stealing 5% or so more of the surfers = email to the sponsor asking about it. Then I decide from that answer.
It also depends, I mean if you send traffic to a teensite and there's a big banner at the frontpage advertising another teensite without giving credit I would never touch the sponsor again. If it's a link somewhere else on the page, maybe a link trade or some directory only seen by a few % of the surfers I don't see any big problems. I mean if it will steal 1% of the traffic, so what, email and ask for a 1% raise in payout.Comment

Wish I had the time to go through my sponsors, I am sure there are a ton of traffic leaks.

Thats got to be the best response.
However, as a sponsor there are ways you can limit leaks to affiliate traffic. Simply coding pages to not show other banners when affiliate traffic runs through, is a good way to keep affiliates appeased and not keep them wondering about you "stealing".GetSCORECash.com | In the Biz Since 1991

If it is a small inexperienced program, perhaps it is a genuine error and they need a little educating that this is hurting the affiliates. Why not contact support if you like the site(s) and ask them?
