    Back in the days...

    Back in the days..
    1) You create a gallery full of hot pics, and a couple of banners or blind links
    You then submit this gallery to like 60 TGPs. And in 24-48 hours you get up to 400,000 unique visitors to that page, sometimes ending up with 3-6 sign ups.

    Wasn't that cool

              More like 30-60 signups from 400k gallery uniques At least in '99 when I started doing galleries

                          You can still do 3-6 signups....one gallery submission to The Hun should get your around 3 signups if you use the right sponsor and design.

                                                                  Back in the (pre-internet) day I...

                                                                  1) knew the sound a room full of rack-mounted VCRs (78 of 'em) made when they simultaneously started and stopped recording all-at-once.

                                                                  Only those in the video distribution market would know that sound.

                                                                  It was wicked cool.

                                                                  (funny how you recall weird little details like that...)
