    Am I missing something on ICQ?

    I get loads of spam - I can handle that.

    But I aslo get LOADS who just pop on for a chat - I hate being rude as I get the impression they are youngsters - but I get sick of trying to fend them off politely.

    Is there an ICQ list or something that says I am willing to chat with people - I remember something along those lines - but I cant find a setting that will take me off it......

    It also affects my work - I am sure I miss important stuff....

                          All the "spam" you receive isn't because you are such a cool dude. It is because you allow the spam. Confusion over spam is odd (at this point).
