Get away from thumblogger, they had few times spyware and the main problem is when You get significant traffic, they start to abuse Your site.
Imagine when You get traffic and You loose whole project cause of thumblogger. If You have Your domain bought You can reset and use existing traffic when some problem occurs.
Just buy some 7$ shared hosting and domain and You're fine. Most of toplists doesn't allow sites without paid hosting and domain, cause with free stuff there big chance You're not serious with Your project and site might be dead soon or You just want to hitbot them or get their traffic in any way of fraud.

I had an idea: what about building a basic TGP site on thumblogger but include banners and links to your "real" blog, the new one that you want to get traffic to. This seems like a cheap and easy method, but would it work? It couldn't hurt, right?Comment
