There are different issues that get mixed up with this case. Clearly it is wrong to kill anybody much less police. That can not really be defended. He will die.
However, shooting civilians in the hunt for him, has made it so that the LAPD are on trial here too. People are right to be upset about that.
It doesn't make it okay for Dorner to have killed people.
