    I suspect google was hacked over the past week

    I live eat sleep and breathe google so mush so that I almost feel I am a human node of their network

    and I know something is wrong here.... I suspect that google has been hacked and that they have been quietly giving the network a scrub

      Yeah, I thought it was weird my blog received over 2000 hits from google within an hour. Anyway, my hits from Google went back to normal.

                          another possibility is that google engineers are scrambling to work the new google checkout code into the network.

                          in my opinion the programers working on the checkout project have always been sub par...and with the upcoming change on the 31st maybe higherups found issues with the checkout teams hooks and had to manualy change code network wide

                          idk

                          but something has definitely went wrong

                                                                  I totally agree. This week when YouTube mysteriously went down, when it came back up, it had some bad code saying "Login Using Your Google Account" as if the code was trying to be changed and they messed up and had to back out of it.

                                                                                                                          The only thing I noticed different was after the last XP update last week IE is having problems logging into gmail. You have to sign out and sign back in to get in.

                                                                                                                          FF does not have the issue so I assumed it was a problem with IE. I would have thought Google would have fixed this by now.
