    One thing I hate about Trillian

    is when I add a new contact, it gets stuffed somewhere in the long list of my contacts and it's tedious to find the new contact and rename it.

    Besides this problem, Trillian is great.

      Make sure you pay attention when adding. Make a category like "just added" and put any new ad ons there first. Then rename them, then move them to wherever you want them to be. Also at least with icq you can do a search by uin to find them to send a first message.

          I hate that when i click on a link it goes to IE, when i use FF

          anyone know how to change that, havent been able to figure it out yet?

                          My beef is when it randomly stops connecting to ICQ - Permanently. Then I have to run ICQ as well. Anyone had this problem and would a reinstall work for me?

                                          exactly. I have mine split up all into groups - designers, hosting, friends, new... etc

                                                      I've also ended up with a massive list of contacts listed by their icq number only which is a nightmare. I've contacted trillian to fix this issue and suggested they make a tool to re-process the list based on data from the icq directory for those affected. That would at least be a start getting my contact list cleared up. Nothing yet

                                                          Anyway my only complaint about trillian is the stupid orphaned contacts thing.

                                                          Also is there a way to search for a person in your list?
