    okay so we eat dogmeat, what's the big deal

    to us it taste like chicken, and lots of you americans eat more stranger things than we will never put in our mouths, such as... horse meat and jack rabbits and snakes and what's the deal with you guys eatting frogs leggs. like ewwww
    i made this thread because some guy e-mailed me today asking is it true that asain people eat dog meat and i told him why sure we do, what's the big deal and then he go's on to say that were nasty fuckers. and i'm still in total confusion here. whats the big deal, it's only a dog. fill me in on why it's so nasty to eat dog. am i missing something here.

              not my thing but if i were to visit asia and someone ordered it im sure i would have a bite.

                      It's not that it's nasty, per se...

                      I think it's that domesticated dogs can serve other purposes for humans than lunch. Pretty much anything that Western culture eats (aside from maybe horsemeat - which isn't all too common in the U.S.) that's been domesticated doesn't serve much more of a purpose (from humanity's perspective) than being a mobile food maturation sack.

                              I think you may have American somehow confused with France as we do not really eat horse meat here and those that do butcher horses send the meat overseas.

                              Though we do eat rabbit, snakes, and frogs though.

                              Yet I would not imagine dog tastes like chicken.

                                                              I didn't realize people really ate snake here in the US until I went to the fair in San Diego, and they have a BBQ rattlesnake vendor. The line was fucking huge.

                                                              I don't know what was worse that or the chicken sandwich but instead of a bun they used krispy kreme donuts.

                                                                                  I would have no idea who even serves that, especially the horse meat. This stuff is not found at regular stores and restaurants.

                                                                                  What I find disgusting about eating dogs is that the Asian places that serve it tie the dogs up in torture positions before killing them so that the meat is more tender.

                                                                                              When we were sailing in SE Asia, we had dog meat for dinner in a small town. It didn't taste anything like chicken, but was quite gamey, closer to a venison.

                                                                                                      First off TheHooker if you're going to pretend to be Japanese get your shit straight, they don't eat dog.

                                                                                                      I do know a few Korean people though, and they definitely eat dog... This girl I was fucking explained it to me. They only eat mutts, not cute purebread dogs and its mostly country folk.
